IVRPA Shooting Range

The Long Range will be close on September 12th for maintenance till 2 pm.

It has come to my attention that members are not picking up their brass and shotgun shells at all ranges. Please clean up after yourself and throw you empties and other trash at the dumpster at the 200yard Rifle Range. Please keep the range clean!!!

The range is currently open for the public on weekends and holidays. The lock will be removed form the gate on weekends and holidays so the gate will be unlock. The gate still needs to be closed at all times per insurance policy. If you have any questions, please contact the Chris Salgado Range Master 442-295-7855.

There will be a club meeting on October 6th at the American Legion at 7 pm. The President, Secretary and Range Master positions are open for re-election. We need to have quorum that day to vote for these positions . Please try to attend the meeting.

The Range will be close for the Public from June 1st to September 4th. The gate will be lock on weekends and holidays. Members must do the following: Unlock the gate and open the gate drive through Close the gate and lock the gate. Drive the speed posted for the Range. There will be a club meeting on June 2, 2026, at the American Legion 7 p.m.

Imperial Valley Rifle Pistol Association will host Tomas Boas 2 Man Team Match on April 11, 2026 at the 200yd Rifle Range. More information will follow this post.

Imperial Valley Rifle Pistol Association will host 1st Annual Ham Hunt Shoot on March 28, 2026. The event will duplicate the Annual Turkey Shoot held in November. Silhouette metallic pigs will be used. Shooters will only be able to use a rifle chamber in 22 Long Rifle and centerfire a with Iron sights or optic. Easter hams will be given to the winners. Please check the weather apps on your smart devices to ensure there is no rain scheduled. If it rains, the range gate will be lock with a secondary chain with different locks to prevent from entering the range. The Range Master will inspect the range and determine when to open the range.

There will be no club meeting in January. The club's next meeting will be on February 3rd at the American Legion 7 pm.

The Long Range will be close on the following dates for January. January 4th- 7th January 12th-14th January 16th-19th

Membership renewals and key exchange will be conducted on the January 10th at the American Legion in El Centro from 8 am-12 pm. Application for membership will be taken. The Range is closed all weekend long due to the forecast of rain. A second chain with locks has been place on the gates to prevent anyone from entering the Range. The Range will be inspected Sunday afternoon to determined if the Range will be open Monday.
