IVRPA Shooting Range

Imperial Valley Rifle Pistol Association will host Tomas Boas 2 Man Team Match on April 11, 2026 at the 200yd Rifle Range. More information will follow this post.

Imperial Valley Rifle Pistol Association will host 1st Annual Ham Hunt Shoot on March 28, 2026. The event will duplicate the Annual Turkey Shoot held in November. Silhouette metallic pigs will be used. Shooters will only be able to use a rifle chamber in 22 Long Rifle and centerfire a with Iron sights or optic. Easter hams will be given to the winners. There will be a Club meeting on February 3, 2026, at the American Legion in El Centro @ 7 pm.

Please check the weather apps on your smart devices to ensure there is no rain scheduled. If it rains, the range gate will be lock with a secondary chain with different locks to prevent from entering the range. The Range Master will inspect the range and determine when to open the range.

There will be no club meeting in January. The club's next meeting will be on February 3rd at the American Legion 7 pm.

The Long Range will be close on the following dates for January. January 4th- 7th January 12th-14th January 16th-19th

Membership renewals and key exchange will be conducted on the January 10th at the American Legion in El Centro from 8 am-12 pm. Application for membership will be taken. The Range is closed all weekend long due to the forecast of rain. A second chain with locks has been place on the gates to prevent anyone from entering the Range. The Range will be inspected Sunday afternoon to determined if the Range will be open Monday.

The Turkey Shoot for November 22, has been canceled due to forecast of rain. The IVRPA Board is planning to reschedule the Turkey Shoot. It will be announce at a later day.

On Tuesday, November 18,2025, Board Members and Members of the Imperial Valley Rifle and Pistol Association (IVRPA) met at the El Centro Salvation Army location to donate enough frozen turkeys, potatoes, vegetables, rolls, stuffing and desserts to feed approximately 450 homeless and low-income locals. The Range Hours of Operations are the following: Members: Sunday through Saturday from dawn (Sun Rise) to dusk (Sun Down) Public: Weekends and holidays from dawn (Sun Rise) to dusk (Sun Down) THERE IS NO NIGHT SHOOTING FOR MEMBERS AND THE PUBLIC.

Memberships that were purchase on September through December 31st must swap their key on January 10th at the American Legion. Your current key will no longer open the lock. You must turn in the current key to receive the new key. If you lost your key, you must present you membership card and $10.00 fee for the lost key. These memberships roll over till the end of December 2026.

The outhouses located across the 300 yd rifle range and the Trap/Skeet range will no longer be used. Porta potties have been placed on these range for members and public to use.
